It wasn't unusual for Manuel to setup a random date night. So when he told me we were going to dinner I didn't think anything of it. It wasn't until I told (right hand) Summer about it that she start putting the ideal of " this is it he's proposing tonight" into my head. I didn't know if this was actually it or not but come on how could I not get my hopes up this was a long time coming. Well I played it cool made sure I got all cute and what not and guess where we pull up to, the Ritz Carlton hotel in down town Dallas! At this point I just know " yep he's going to finally do it"! We get to our table and it is so beautiful the dimly lit lighting, the decor, everything is just perfect. So we're eating and talking and just enjoying ourselves and before I know it he's asking for the tab and we're getting ready to leave. No proposal! I'm a little disappointed, but at myself for getting my hopes up. I'm giving myself a pep talk in my head trying to cheer myself up. Well we are walking to the car and all of a sudden he is like" oh wait let me ask the concierge to take our picture wait right here". So I'm waiting and here he comes with one of the hotel workers walking towards me. He is explaining to the worker how to work the camera. Manuel comes over to me and I'm getting my pose ready and then it happens He gets down on one knee, and says " do you want to spend the rest of your life with me?" I reply "yes!" he says "will you marry me?" I replay "Oh my God Yes!" And the rest of the night was like a dream.
